The Standing Committee on Natural Resource Management has been appointed to inquire into the sustainable management of natural resources in NSW. The committee will soon commence an inquiry into the following terms of reference:
(c) approaches to land use management on farms which both reduce salinity and mitigate the effects of drought;
(d) ways of increasing the up-take of such use management practices.
Interested individuals and organisations are invited to make a submission (in writing, typed or on disk) to assist the inquiry process. The 53rd Parliament, including all current committee inquiries, expired at
midnight on 2 March 2007.
