Consolidated Standing and Sessional Orders

The Consolidated Standing and Sessional Orders are the rules of the Legislative Assembly that are currently in force. In cases where a Standing Order has been temporarily altered by a Sessional Order, the in force Sessional Order is shown. 


Standing Orders 

The Standing Orders are the permanent rules of the Legislative Assembly. The current Standing Orders include amendments approved by the Governor on 20 February 2023. Where a Standing Order has been temporarily altered by a Sessional Order, this publication does not show the in force Sessional Order.

 

Sessional Orders​ 

The Sessional Orders are temporary rules of the Legislative Assembly. They modify or replace certain Standing Orders for the duration of a parliamentary session and have the force of a Standing Order. This publication shows only the Sessional Orders that have temporarily altered Standing Orders for the current session of the 58th Parliament, as at 19 October ​2023.
