Spent convictions for juvenile offenders

The Standing Committee on Law and Justice has accepted terms of reference to inquire into and report on whether the current prohibition on spent convictions for juveniles convicted of sex offences should be maintained. The terms of reference for the Inquiry were referred to the Committee by the NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice, the Hon John Hatzistergos MLC. The Committee tabled its report with the Clerk of the Parliaments on 6 July 2010.
