Natural Resource Management Issues - Inquiry into Term of Reference (f)

This inquiry was established to report on issues relating to the sustainable management of natural resources in NSW, namely the current disincentives that exist for ecologically sustainable land and water use in New South Wales; options for the removal of such disincentives and any consequences in doing so; approaches to land use management on farms which both reduce salinity and mitigate the effects of drought; ways of increasing the up-take of such land use management practices; the effectiveness of management systems for ensuring that sustainability measures for the management of natural resources in New South Wales are achieved; and the impact of water management arrangements on the management of salinity in NSW.

The 53rd Parliament, including all current committee inquiries, expired at midnight on 2 March 2007.
