15 June to 22 July 2016MAX Employment presents 'Our Communities', an Indigenous art exhibition showcasing the 20 finalists of the 2016 MAX Employment National Indigenous Art Competition. The exhibition seeks to highlight the talent of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from around Australia, honouring the culture, skill and diversity of the original owners of this land.
Over four weeks, MAX Employment put the call out to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists across the country to submit 2D artworks to the competition. Entries were received by Indigenous Australian artists from all walks of life, with the 2016 judging panel determining this year's exhibiting finalists. Now in its third year, the 2016 MAX National Indigenous Art Competition has seen more artists submit works than ever before.
Entry is free and doors are open 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
