The incredible Nikon-Walkley Press Photography Exhibition can be seen through NSW Parliament in two ways:
The exhibition features the works of finalists in the Nikon-Walkley Awards for Excellence in Photojournalism, which recognise the work of photographers across a range of genres, from news and sport to portraiture and photographic essays. This exhibition lets us reflect on the year in news, through the individual worldviews and skilled camerawork of Australia's best photographers.
The Walkley Awards are the highest honours in Australian journalism, celebrating excellence across all media. Since 1956, when the first Walkleys were presented in five categories, the awards have grown to 30 categories, including documentary film, non-fiction books. Learn more at www.walkleys.com.
Visitors are advised that this exhibition includes graphic images that may be confronting. Viewer discretion is advised.
