Joint Select Committee on Sydney's night time economy

Joint Select Committee on Sydney's night time economy

The first select committee for the 57th Parliament is now taking submissions! Chaired by the Hon. Natalie Ward MLC, the Joint Select Committee on Sydney's night time economy asks: is there the proper balance between community safety and maintaining a vibrant night time economy in Sydney?

Submissions will close on Tuesday 2 July, and public hearings will be held on Monday 5 August and Monday 12 August.

The committee wants to hear from a variety of people about their experiences with Sydney's night time economy. "We know there are strong feelings on both sides of this debate, and we are hoping to hear from as many people and organisations as possible. We would welcome submissions from anyone with an interest in this issue", said Ms Ward.
