Qualifications, occupations and interests
Shoemaker, surveyor, auctioneer and general agent. Arrived in New South Wales in 1837 and worked near Cassilis from 1837 to 1843, going to Muswellbrook in 1843 and to Tamworth in 1855. Became insolvent in 1876, later going to Singleton Bridge. Was a pioneer of Order of Sons of Temperance, opening many lodges throughout country areas.
