Dairy farmer and stud breeder. Educated at Scots College, Nowra and Hawkesbury Agricultural College. Returned to Numbaa to run the family property for the next 23 years. Became general president of the New South Wales Dairy Farmers' Association. Recreational interests include football, cricket and tennis.
