Director of Barraclough and Goldman Pty Limited, Real Estate Agents, 1956 until 1977. Councillor of University of Sydney from 1974 until 1976; noted athlete, played first grade football; president of New South Wales Metropolitan Rugby Union, member of 1968 Olympic Games committee. Chairman of MSB Waterways Authority 1989 - 1995, Director of Maritime Services Board 1989 - 1995, Director of Multiple Sclerosis Society (New South Wales) 1987 - 1997. Recreational interests include yachting, golf and rugby union.
Military Service
Joined 2nd Australian Infantry Forces (2nd AIF) in 1945. Retired medically unfit in 1945.
Honours Received
Awarded the Order of Australia (AO) as a member in the general division in 1991.
