Welfare Officer, Newcastle Technical College and Newcastle University College from 1952 until 1960. Councillor at University of New South Wales from 1962 until 1965. Secretary of Newcastle Cricket Association from 1958 until 1960 and delegate to New South Wales Cricket Association. Recreational interests include swimming, walking rugby league and basketball.
