Industrial advocate. Western Australian Employers' Federation in 1935 and remained as an advocate until 1966. Moved to Sydney in 1966, became Executive Director of the New South Wales Employers' Federation until 1980 and retired due to ill health. Deputy member of New South Wales Immigration Advisory Council, New South Wales Committee on Discrimination in Employment and Opportunity, New South Wales Industrial Relations Society, New South Wales Industrial Relations Advisory Council, New South Wales Alcoholism in Industry Committee. Recreational interests include golf and snooker.
Military Service
Served as lieutenant in 2nd/11th Battalion, Australian Infantry Forces in World War 2; was taken as a Prisoner of War in Europe and spent 3 years in a German army camp.
