Grandson of John Bligh Suttor (1809 - 1886), a Member of the Legislative Assembly and also a Member of the Legislative Council; and a second cousin of Sir Francis Bathurst Suttor (1839 - 1915), a Member of the Legislative Assembly and also a Member of the Legislative Council.
