Butcher. Educated at Batlow Public School; went to New Zealand in 1895, worked in country and West Coast mines; returned in 1898, opened a butcher shop in Wagga Wagga in 1900. Closely associated with sporting and charitable organisations in Wagga Wagga, member of Hospital committee for 25 years; foundation member of Wagga Wagga Eight House Association, president in 1912; keen racegoers.
