Son of Robert Martin, miner, later became a Church of England Minister and Antoinette Laura Ormsby. Married Lucy Danvers in 1900 and had issue, 1 daughter and 7 sons. Church of England. Funeral at Northern suburbs crematorium from St James Church of England, King Street.
