Pastoralist. With brother Alexander at one time owned and ran Burnima, Bombala; in 1865 was living at Micalago a 35,000 acre run probably held with Alexander and with other members of family purchased Coolringdon, Cooma, (26,000 acres), and occupied and developed it during the rest of his life.
