It should be noted that of these,111 claims assessed were found to have a statutory binding PIAWE review (that is, Internal Review, Merit Review, Workers Compensation Commission assessment) or lump-sum settlement (Work Injury Damages, common law settlement, or commutation) which means they are not entitled to progress to a review.

(d) 893 are going through final reviews and quality assurance (Each claim goes through a multi-stage review and QA process prior to confirming the status of the initial PIAWE determination, and if incorrect moving to a full file review of payments to assess whether there were any incorrect payments).

3,811 of the assessments completed have insufficient information and letters have been sent to these workers giving them the opportunity to provide the missing information in order to have the reassessment completed.
