WORKERS COMPENSATION

(1) What were the workers compensation premiums paid for or by the Department of Health, and each agency within the Department of Health cluster, in the following financial years:

(a) 2018/19?

(b) 2019/20?

(c) 2020/21 to date?

(2) How many workers compensation claims have been made in the Department of Health, and each agency inside the Department of Health cluster, in the following financial years:

(a) 2018/19?

(b) 2019/20?

(c) 2020/21 to date?

(3) Of those claims made by staff in the Department of Health, and each agency inside the Department of Health cluster, please provide a breakdown of:

(a) How many required time off work in the following financial years:

(i) 2018/19?

(ii) 2019/20?

(iii) 2020/21 to date?

(b) How many attended work on suitable duties or reduced hours in the following financial years:

(i) 2018/19?

(ii) 2019/20?

(iii) 2020/21 to date?

(c) How many did not require time off work in the following financial years:

(i) 2018/19?

(iii) 2020/21 to date?

(1-5) I am advised that information about workers compensation, that is held by the NSW Ministry of Health, is available in the NSW Health Annual Report.
