That this House:
(1) Congratulates Olga Forner for her achievements as President of Griffith Can Assist, an organisation that helps cancer patients in the Griffith area.
(2) Recognises rural patients often have to travel long distances at considerable cost and inconvenience to receive treatment and specialist consultations.
(3) Applauds the dedication and commitment of Olga Forner and other volunteers who help rural cancer patients.
(4) Calls on the Government to increase the Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme payment levels.
