That this House:
- Condemns the Government and the Minister for Family and Community Services
for not filling 234 caseworker positions one year after ordering the department
to address the issue.

young people at risk of significant harm in New South Wales have not received a
face to face child protection service over the past year.
- Further notes that in Southern New South Wales 31 per cent of caseworker
positions are vacant.
- Calls on the Minister for Family and Community Services and the Premier and
Minister for Western Sydney to immediately address the issue of shortage in
child protection case workers to ensure avoidable tragedies are prevented.
