In the absence of a formal process for Parliamentary scrutiny of the fiscal and budgetary response to COVID-19, the Committee received a confidential briefing from the Secretary of the Treasury on 30 April. Subsequently, the Committee resolved to request a detailed response from the Treasurer to a series of written questions.
