Resolution passed 25 May 1999, 1st Session, Minutes No. 4, pp 83-5. The Standing Ethics Committee was established to prepare a draft code of
conduct for Members of the Legislative Assembly, and to review any code
introduced. The Committee is to carry out the educative work in relation to
ethical standards applying to Members of the Legislative Assembly as well as
providing advice on the standards.
