The 2001 National Conference of Parliamentary Environment Committees was convened in Canberra by Hon Ian Causley MP. The Hon John Johnson MLC attended and delivered a speech entitled "Is rural development and environmental sustainability incompatible?" (refer to Committee Activies below).
