That General Purpose Standing Committee No. 3 inquire into and report on: (a) the procedures for the appointment of the Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners and Governors of the Department of Corrective Services, and circumstances relating to these recent appointments. (b) whether associations between these senior officers in the Department of Corrective Services and prisoners are at all times appropriate, and undertaken with integrity and professionalism and whether proper disciplinary action is initiated when required.
