Long Title: An Act to amend the Electricity Supply Act 1995 with respect to changes to licences, functions and obligations of distribution network service providers and retail suppliers of electricity, the rights and liabilities of customers and other matters related to the introduction of full retail competition in New South Wales; to make provision with respect to regulated retail tariffs and charges, including constituting the Electricity Tariff Equalisation Fund and the Electricity Tariff Equalisation Ministerial Corporation; to provide for regulation of aspects of market operations and electricity marketing; to amend the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992 to confer electricity-related functions on the Tribunal; and for other purposes.
