Petition RequestStating that on 14 February 2004, 17 year old Thomas "TJ" Hickey was killed while being pursued by police, that TJ's family still don't know how and why he died, that the police investigation was inadequate, the coronial inquiry was incomplete, that TJ's death represents the pain and absence of justice that so many Aboriginal families experience in the criminal justice system, and requesting that the House establish a Parliamentary inquiry to examine the events leading up to and following TJ Hickey's death and to support a review of the coronial inquiry.
