TRANSPORT FOR NSW LISMORE PILOT – ROLL-OUT

(1) Will the Transport for NSW specialist/project manager pilot structure be expanded and rolled out to other local government areas that request this additional support?

I am advised

Transport for NSW is providing tailored project management support to councils which takes into consideration the extent and complexity of the work that is to be completed. Council capability and resourcing are also considered throughout this process.

Transport for NSW has worked closely with disaster affected councils across New South Wales to ensure that they are supported to complete natural disaster repair works, and reinstate important infrastructure required to re-connect communities as quickly as possible.

Transport for NSW will continue to provide support to councils within the current Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement. The level of support is dependent on the severity of the disaster and the needs of individual councils.
