TRANSPORT FOR NSW LISMORE PILOT – UPDATE

(1) Can the Minister provide an update on the progress of the Transport for NSW Lismore Pilot, specifically the rebuild of Lismore City Councils road repairs?
Answer -

I am advised

Lismore’s major reconstruction project is progressing well. Lismore City Council continues to deliver

reconstruction works across the Local Government Area.

Temporary access has been re-established in critical areas, and the major reconstruction Essential Public Asset Restoration application has been completed and submitted. The application is going through an Independent Technical Review which is in the final stages of assessment.

The major project is on track to commence procurement this year with major reconstruction works commencing in early 2024.

Now that the project team has been established to facilitate project development and delivery, the specialist project manager is focused on managing the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements approval of Lismore City Council’s major works program.
