ONE ROAD PLATFORM - NSW POLICE TRAINING

(1) Have the NSW Police been trained on how to use the One Road platform?

(a)  If not, why not?
Answer -

I am advised

(1) No.

(a) Transport for NSW manages and responds to incidents in real-time with NSW Police via the incident management system used by emergency agencies, whilst liaising closely with the on-shift Police Liaison Officer in the Transport Management Centre.

OneRoad is used to publish road related disruption messages to the Live Traffic NSW website. The Transport Management Centre and Live Traffic NSW websites are available to NSW Police, including in the event of an emergency.
