(1) Can the Minister advise whether works have begun on the Wumbulgal rail freight siding Fixing Country Rail project?
(a) If so, what is the expected completion date?

Design work has commenced, noting that the former Liberal-National government handed down the worst financial position government in the State’s history. The incoming government has inherited in excess of $7 billion in unfunded programs and $187 billion in debt over the forward estimates. The State and Federal governments are currently reviewing programs in light of the former Liberal- National government’s financial mismanagement and history of cost overruns.
