Answer -

I am advised

(1) Pooncarie Road is a Regional road. Regional and Local roads are the responsibility of local councils. Any breaches in relation to land clearing associated with the sealing of the Pooncarie Road within the Central Darling Shire Local Government Area is a matter for the relevant regulatory agency and Central Darling Shire Council.

(2) On my appointment, I wrote to all Councillors, Mayors, General Managers and Members of Parliament inviting them to contact me with any concerns they have. My diary disclosures are made public in accordance with the Ministerial Code of Conduct via the Department of Premier and Cabinet website.
