(1) What is your election commitment proposal for returning manufacturing of trains to NSW?

I am advised

Our election commitments were clearly articulated prior to the NSW 2023 State Election.

The former Liberal-National government went to great efforts to undermine local manufacturing, which included procuring heavy rail rolling stock from China and South Korea, metro rolling stock from India, light rail rolling stock from France and Spain and ferries from China and Indonesia.
