(1) What is the official definition of peak and off peak in relation to transport timetables?

For the purposes of weekday timetables, peak times are as follows:

  • Sydney Metro/train network: 6:30 am - 10:00 am and 3:00 pm - 7:00pm
  • Intercity trains: 6:00 am - 10:00 am and 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Buses and light rail: 6:30 am - 10:00 am and 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
