(b) Manufacture all rolling stock, both public transport and freight in Australia?

(c) Targeted support for New South Wales industry which emphasises the skill development of the workforce and promotes collective capability across the industry?

Answer -

I am advised

The former Liberal-National government went to great efforts to undermine local manufacturing, which included procuring heavy rail rolling stock from China and South Korea, metro rolling stock from India, light rail rolling stock from France and Spain and ferries from China and Indonesia.

The current NSW Government is committed to redressing the destruction of local manufacturing, industry, jobs and skills presided over by the former Liberal-National government.
