(1) How many counsellor positions were vacant in New South Wales public schools at the start of term 4, 2022?
Answer -

The school counselling service has grown significantly in recent years, increasing from 790 positions in 2015 to 1,240 FTE positions in January 2022.

As at 5 October 2022 there were 70.7 full-time equivalent school counselling positions vacant.
