(1) Given the answer to Question on Notice 6866:

(a) Why did you announce funding for the Defence Strategy on 12 November 2020 and 22 June 2021 if the Defence Strategy does not fall under your portfolio?
Answer -
The referred media releases include measures across the entire Industry and Trade portfolio. While some sector strategies are part of the Jobs and Investment portfolio, the funding was approved as part of a larger package and therefore referenced.
