6589 - Energy and Environment - KANGAROO MANAGEMENT ADVISORY PANEL - MEMBERSHIP OF DR STEVEN MCLEOD

Pearson, Mark to the Special Minister of State, and Minister for the Public Service and Employee Relations, Aboriginal Affairs, and the Arts representing the Minister for Energy and Environment

(1) Can the Minister explain why Dr Steven McLeod is listed as being a representative of the Australasian Wildlife Management Society (AWMS) on the panel when my office failed to find any record of Dr McLeod as either a board member, staff member or life member?

(2) Can the Minister advise in what capacity Dr McLeod represents the AWMS on the panel when my research indicates that Dr McLeod is a senior research scientist with the NSW Department of Agriculture with the task of working on kangaroo population counts? 

(3) Can the Minister explain why Dr McLeod is listed as representing AWMS on the panel and not the Department for Agriculture?
