(b) 2018?

(c) 2017?

(5) What is the average wait time for ambulances at Tumut Hospital?

(6) What is the average wait time for ambulances at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital?

(7) How many full-time equivalent paramedics service the Tumut region?

(8) What are the weekly average hours of the above paramedics, including overtime?

(9) If a Tumut based ambulance is travelling to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, what contingencies are in place for the Tumut region in the case of a medical episode?

 

Answer -

(1) & (9)

NSW Ambulance operates a state wide service and ambulance services in the Tumut region are supported by stations at Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba and Gundagai.

(2) - (3)

Local health districts and hospitals vary staffing profiles and numbers to appropriately meet operational need at any point in time.

(4) - (8)

NSW Ambulance activity and performance data is published by the Bureau of Health Information. The 2019-20 NSW Government Budget will deliver additional paramedics and control centre staff across the state. Paramedics work under the Paramedics and Control Centre Officers (State) Award 2019.
