In relation to the Government's plans regarding the CBD and South-East light rail:

  1. What action has been taken to ensure the CBD and South-East light rail network will be accessible for commuters with a disability?
  2. Will the network be wheelchair accessible?
    1. If not, why not?
Answer -

I am advised:

The CBD and South East Light Rail project will be fully compliant with all required accessibility standards including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. It will be accessible for commuters with a disability and wheelchair accessible.
