Regarding the construction of the Wentworth to Broken Hill pipeline:

  1. How many full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs in Broken Hill will by created by the construction of the pipeline?
  2. How many FTE jobs have been created to date, which are located in Broken Hill?
  3. How many additional FTE jobs will be created and located in Broken Hill for the following months:

Answer -

As of 27 May, there were a total of 329 people working on the Broken Hill Pipeline project, with a peak projected workforce of 500 people. All of the roles are full-time.

As of 27 May, there were 113 local people working on the project. They are employed directly by the project or by subcontractors. The project and subcontractors will continue to engage local personnel as construction ramps up to its peak over the coming months.
