To the President and Members of the Legislative Council, the petitioners of New South Wales state that the brumbies within Kosciuszko National Park are continuously slaughtered and inhumanely killed, and that the proposed repeal of the Kosciuszko Wild Horse Heritage Act 2018 will remove any protection of the brumbies and lead to further cruelty and unnecessary deaths. The petitioners request that the House oppose the repeal of the Kosciuszko Wild Horse Heritage Act 2018 and stop the slaughter of brumbies in New South Wales.
