KIAMA BENDS SAFETY CONCERNS

I am advised:

Crash statistics can be found on the Centre for Road Safety website:

A proposal is being assessed at Kiama Bends to improve road user safety through the installation of a safety barrier with motorcycle under-run. Behavioural programs in the region will continue with further investigations of speed-management treatments.

Line marking was completed on the Princes Highway at Kiama bends on 20 June 2023 and reflective pavement markers were installed on 21 June 2023. Cycle lanes cannot be marked on this section of road as the road geometry does not support a dedicated cycleway.
