Answer -

The NSW Spatial Digital Twin (SDT) provides 3D spatial data coverage for the LGAs of Camden, Shoalhaven, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Maitland, Penrith, The Hills, Wollondilly, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Campbelltown, City of Parramatta, Newcastle, Wollongong and Bathurst.

It also provides 2D foundation spatial data coverage across the state, produced and supplied by DCS Spatial Services. There is additional statewide coverage of some NSW Government agency and Commonwealth spatial data that includes near real-time (4D) data feeds.

(1) $16,550,101 has been spent developing the SDT to date.

(2) A total of $40 million was allocated from the Digital Restart Fund to develop and rollout the NSW Spatial Digital Twin, with the funding allocated to end of June 2024.

(a) LGAs included in the 2022 SDT include: Camden, Shoalhaven, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Maitland, Penrith, The Hills, Wollondilly, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Campbelltown, City of Parramatta and Newcastle, Wollongong and Bathurst.

(b) 

The 2023 program plans to incorporate the LGAs of Port Stephens, Central Coast, Goulburn Mulwaree, Parkes, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cessnock, Cumberland, Kiama, Lake Macquarie and Shellharbour.

(5) Subject to full funding of the program, as per the approved business case, full 3D coverage of all NSW communities can be completed by June 2026.

(6) $99.5 million.
