8621 - PROJECT MILESTONES FOR THE SYDNEY METRO SOUTHWEST

Mihailuk, Tania to the Minister for Transport, Minister for Veterans, and Minister for Western Sydney

(1) Noting that the opening of Sydney Metro Southwest (Sydenham to Bankstown) is delayed until 2025, has staging/project milestones for the “Planning for rail services west of Bankstown” been revised?

(a) If so, what are the new staging/project milestones broken down to each quarter of the year?

Answer -

I am advised

There are no plans to revise the staging or delivery of planned rail service changes for stations west of Bankstown. Services will continue to operate on the T3 Bankstown Line until the final Sydenham to Bankstown line shutdown. Transport for NSW will ensure rail services are maintained at T3 Bankstown Line stations, which are not converting to Sydney Metro.
