  1. Has the Roads and Maritime Services inspected the intersection of Gleeson Avenue and Burrows Avenue, Sydenham, to observe that pedestrians who are crossing on Gleeson Avenue do not have sufficient time to cross?
  2. Has the introduction of a red light camera at this intersection compromised the safety of school children in the area due to the increased number of motorists hurrying through the traffic lights?
Answer -

I am advised:

  1. Pedestrian crossing times at this intersection were examined and minor adjustments made in July 2014.
  2. No red-light speed cameras are installed at the intersection of Gleeson Avenue and Burrows Avenue, Sydenham.
