- Will the Government extend the State Literacy and Numeracy Action Plan
beyond the 2016 school year?
- If not, what other initiatives will be made available to assist schools to
address underperformance in literacy and numeracy?
- Can the Minister confirm that schools which have improved their performance
in literacy and numeracy but still face significant social and cultural
challenges will not miss out on access to future funding initiatives?

Since the Action Plan's commencement in 2012 it has been the subject of an
independent evaluation. Decisions regarding the future of the Action Plan,
beyond 2016, will be made based on all available evidence.
