In relation to the development application pending for Eastlakes Shopping
Centre pursuant to Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act,
1979:
- Why, after the Planning and Assessment Commission in September 2010
rejected a recommendation from the Department to authorise the submission of a
concept plan, did the Department of Planning continue to deal with the
application and allow the submission of a development application without a
further concept plan being submitted to the Planning and Assessment
Commission?
- Was it the Minister or the Minister's predecessor that made decisions in
relation to how this Development Application was to be received and assessed by
the Department of Planning?
- Has any Member or former Member of Parliament made representation to either
the Minister or the Minister's predecessor, or the Director General of the
Department, or any officer of the Department on behalf of Iwan Sunito of the
Crown Group?
- What was the nature of those representations?
- What was communicated to that member or former member of parliament and
what action was taken by the department as a result of those
representations?

- This question refers to the former Government.
- Former Minister Tony Kelly was the responsible Minister during this
period.
- During my time as Minister, neither I nor the Department of Planning and
Infrastructure have received representations from Mr Sunito or the Crown Group.
I cannot speak on behalf of the former Ministers.
