Haylen, Jo to the Minister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Disability Services
  1. In the event that the successful tenderer for services at the Summer Hill Centre opts to leave due to financial or other constraints, or in the event that the parent body opts to terminate the services of the chosen tenderer, what happens to the service?
  2. How will the process of determining the future of these services be undertaken?
Answer -

(1) and (2) Service Providers must comply with all quality and safeguards specified as part of the terms of registration with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Residents can change their Service Provider at any time if the Service Provider becomes insolvent or is deregistered by the National Disability Insurance Agency.

The incumbent service provider and accommodation provider must work together to transition from one service provider to another.
