  1. How many properties owned by the Land and Housing Corporation and currently used by transitional or crisis housing providers have been relinquished, sold or acquired in each financial year from 2012-13 to 2016-17?
  2. How many additional properties have been purchased or built by Land and Housing Corporation for the express purpose of transitional or crisis housing, provided by not-for-profit or community housing providers?
Answer -

I am advised that the Department of Family and Community Services' (FACS) Land and Housing Corporation continually reviews the suitability of the properties it owns. Proceeds from the sale of assets are re-invested to upgrade social housing and build new dwellings Additionally, the Government has committed $61 million of new funding over four years to implement the NSW Homelessness Strategy. This includes $9.1 million for additional transitional accommodation.
