Answer -

I am advised:

Work on the M4 Widening began in March 2015 and is expected to be completed in 2017. Subject to planning approval by the Minister for Planning, work is due to begin on the M4 East in 2016 and due to open to traffic in 2019. All project dates are available on the WestConnex website.
